Terms of Service

Last updated 11 August 2026.

These terms govern your use of Taxifo, provided by Techkaro Private Limited ("Techkaro", "we"). By creating an account, raising a bill, or submitting your details on taxifo.com, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Registered name
Techkaro Private Limited
Registered office
B1/H3, Industrial Area, Block B, Mathura Road, Mohan Cooperative Industrial Estate, New South East, Delhi — 110044
Hours
Monday to Saturday, 10:00–19:00 IST

2. What Taxifo is

Taxifo is software for raising GST invoices and for the reporting work that follows them — credit and debit notes, GSTR-1 preparation, Tally export, receivables and payment reconciliation. It is software. It is not tax advice, and nothing it produces is a substitute for the judgement of a qualified professional.

Each CA firm runs its own installation against its own database. If you bill into a firm's installation, that firm controls your account within it.

3. Introductions to a CA firm

If you ask us to, we will introduce you to an independent chartered accountancy firm. That firm is not Techkaro. The accounting engagement, its scope, its fees and its professional obligations are between you and that firm. We introduce; we do not practise accountancy and we do not supervise theirs.

Fees quoted on this site as starting from ₹500 per month are the indicative starting fee for such an engagement. The fee that applies to you is the one you agree with the firm.

4. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract under Indian law.
  • The details you give us must be accurate — a GSTIN in particular, because the tax on every bill is computed from it.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your login. Tell us or your CA firm at once if you think somebody else has it.
  • There is no self-service password reset. Your CA firm resets it for you.

5. Fees, taxes and payment

Fees are stated on the pricing page and in what you agree with your CA firm. Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of GST, which is charged additionally at the applicable rate.

Payments are collected through a payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. We do not see or store your full card number, UPI credentials or bank passwords — those go to the aggregator, not to us. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refunds & Cancellation Policy.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not use Taxifo to issue invoices for transactions that did not happen.
  • Do not attempt to reach another firm's installation, another organisation's records, or any account that is not yours.
  • Do not probe, scrape, overload or attempt to disable the service.
  • Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you have no right to hold.

We may suspend an account that is doing any of these, and will say why.

7. Your data

Your business records remain yours. We process them to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell them and we do not use them to train anything.

8. Availability

We work to keep Taxifo running and take backups that we restore to prove they work, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, a network failure, or a fault at a hosting provider can interrupt access.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Techkaro is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for a tax position taken on the strength of software output without professional review. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud.

10. Ending the agreement

You may stop using Taxifo at any time; see the refunds policy for what happens to fees already paid. We may end or suspend access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or where we are required to by law. You can ask for an export of your records before access ends.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top of this page always says when they last changed, and material changes are notified by email or in the app before they take effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Contact
